Our Care

“We are able to care for older residents whose overriding nursing and care needs can be safely met within the Home’s environment. We are able to care for those residents with severely impaired mobility who require assistance with personal care and nutrition, who have continence care needs, who require assistance with medication and who have an assessed need for care from qualified nursing staff.

We are also able to take blood samples and make certain other diagnostic tests in accordance with the GPs instructions, within the comfort of the home

We aim to provide a homely and inclusive atmosphere, where residents and their loved ones can be involved in their care and make choices as to how they wish to live and to the treatment they receive

Prior to consideration for admission to Camelot, prospective residents are assessed to ascertain nursing and care requirements and whether these can safely be met within the home environment. All admissions are considered to be on a trial basis for the first six weeks following admission.

We will consider all prospective residents, regardless of funding source, and we are able to accept emergency admissions.

Please telephone or email us to arrange a visit."
