Dining at Camelot

Food and nutrition always rank highly on people's expectations of a quality care home and Camelot is proud to offer a wide variety of meals that are cooked in our own kitchen using fresh produce, mostly from local suppliers.

Meals can be taken in our dining room or in a residents own room if required. Assistance is provided to those with mobility problems who want to eat in the dining room.

Residents are able to choose their own breakfast and our menus are carefully devised over a 5 week period, with changes every week. We offer a choice of two main meals, and a sweet every day for lunch which.

At 5:15 residents are provided with a supper, which is cooked by our supper chef and includes soup, a main course which may include sandwiches or salads, along with a sweet.

Despite all this choice will still alternatives every day such as a jacket potato or omelette - or a special meal can be provided if requested.

Late night snacks are available from 9pm, although drinks, light meals and snacks can be prepared at any time. We also serve mid-morning and mid-afternoon drinks with biscuits, home-made cakes, and pastries.

We are proud that the dining experience at Camelot is one of variety, choice, quality, and nutrition.
