About Camelot

An introduction by Sue Munro, Owner of Camelot nursing and residential care home

"My name is Sue Munro and I have been the owner of Camelot for 35 years. As it is the only care home I own, I have been able to ensure that we maintain the same family values that have been in place throughout those years."

"Our home evokes a warm, homely feel provided by loyal, caring management and staff, and we have been honoured to care for many happy long term residents.

The family feel is extended to our dining, with my daughter Michelle providing excellent and varied meals as chef.

Camelot is dual registered for both residential and nursing which means that even if you do not have existing nursing needs, you can be assured that if and when those needs may arise, you will be able to remain at Camelot.

For those who do not know Worthing, we are able to boast one of the mildest climates in the UK, as we are sheltered by the South Downs.

Camelot is situated in a quiet road just south of the main A259 coast road, close to Worthing town centre. Worthing railway station, which has direct services to London and the main coastal towns, is just over half a mile away.

The wonderful seafront promenade is just a 5 minute walk away, and the recently refurbished Worthing Pier that provides amazing views to the east and west.

I have so much more to tell you about our home, and hope the pages of our website provide you with more information on things such as dining, our philosophy of care and our activities.

My manager, administrator and I would be very pleased to welcome you to Camelot, please telephone or email us to arrange a visit."
